YONOBI is Introducing a new class - our new 4-day pottery camp for kids between 9 - 15 years old.

You will be introduced to the basic wheel-throwing techniques during the class and have plenty of time to play with the clay.

The first day will be about getting everyone settled by the pottery wheel and learning how to collaborate with the clay - from wedging to centering on the wheel and finally shaping the clay. We will work with a "friendly stoneware clay" and trim the bottoms of the pieces from day to day. The last day will be about decorating and finishing your work, and then we will finish the pieces by giving them a transparent glaze. The finished pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately 2 weeks after the class.

This class is for kids between 9 and 15 years old. Parents, grandparents, or friends are welcome to join - then you have to book one spot for you and one for your kids. The class is limited, so we only have 8 available spots per class.

• Day one, Centering and throwing a basic cylinder and other simple shapes
• Day two, Working with new techniques and throwing (your designs)
• Day three, Working with new techniques, throwing (your designs), and trimming
• Day four, Trimming and finishing all the pieces with decorating, etc.
