Collection: Tove Tengå

Tove Tengå is a Swedish artist born in 1984. She currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

Clay is her primary material, and she experiments with finding techniques to work with. She likes working with her hands, and she lets the work of her hands shine through in the result. 

Her interests lie in creating groups, or systems, where the pieces form a dialogue. She is drawn to asymmetrical repetition and explores the collaboration between patterns and shapes.

Graphical design, illustrations, and patterns are her inspirations, and she looks for harmony, language, or feeling. Her work is primarily abstract, which the viewer can interpret freely, but it has a deeper meaning when you look closer.
