Join us for a special workshop with Tyst Te in our Aarhus studio.
Tyst Te has been part of Yonobi since the opening of our Pinch Pot Cafés in 2023 and continues to share Japanese tea and matcha across our studios. For this occasion, founder Louise Walter joins us to host a tea ceremony, while Yonobi leads the ceramic workshop.
During the workshop, Yonobi will guide you through the traditional Japanese kurinuki technique. You will create your own matcha bowl, exploring texture, weight, and the tactile dialogue between hand and material.
Throughout the session, Louise will prepare and serve matcha while sharing insights into her work with Japanese tea, the traditions surrounding it, and the philosophy behind Tyst Te. The workshop brings together tea and clay - connecting the object you shape with the ritual it is made for.
This is an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands, and experience the meeting between craftsmanship and everyday rituals.
