Ambre Hervo has been mastering the art of porcelain for 15 years. In recent years, her work has centered around the iconic Moonjar shape, drawing inspiration from Korean craftsmanship. "I love the poetry of this object—the form, the texture, the minimalism. Working with porcelain in the Moonjar form is challenging. Some pieces are thrown in one or two parts, while others are carved or adorned with gold along the seam where the two sections meet." Her journey to Japan a decade ago and her studies at the Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen in 2019 have profoundly shaped her artistic vision.
