Estudio Vernís is a workshop celebrating craft and the unexpectedness of clay and wood-firing. Every piece is made individually, by hand, in their studio in Castell de Castells. Timeless, lasting, and ever-evolving ceramics designed to be functional and honest.

Estudio Vernís aspires to a world where every object contains the traces of the hands that made it. That is why their fingerprints are in every step of the process, from the pinching of the clay to the formulation of the glazes or the foraging of the wood, leaving a mark in a lasting and natural material using primitive techniques and local resources. The pieces are a labor of re-learning from the material and the process, allowing it to set the pace and decide the result.
