Johanne is a self-taught ceramicist who has been at it for nearly four years. She's juggling being a student and a ceramicist simultaneously, striving to carve out her style and approach to working with clay in her daily life. Her main joy lies in throwing on the wheel, and she's still experimenting to find her clay, glaze, and form. It's a delightful process for her, finding strength in being open to all impressions in the vast ceramic artistic world. One thing she's certain of is her passion for craftsmanship - the tactile experience of handling the material and shaping it herself. Getting her hands dirty, understanding the process, and gaining knowledge about the materials are some of the most exciting aspects for her.
