Collection: Karin Lengstrand

Karin Lengstrand is a Swedish based ceramic artist who recently graduated from Capellagården. 

Her work likes to move towards sculpture but the line between functional and sculpture is blurry. Every piece is thrown on the pottery-wheel then altered by hand to create different shapes and making every piece unique. For several years she’s been repeating one shape to fully understand it and give it new expression and 

The collection Karin made for YONOBI is called Anomali. A collection of different cups and bowls that all have a different expression. Small changes in shapes or texture. Made in both stoneware and porcelain.
