Untitled n°15/2024

Description

Item number : 15/2024

Linda Ouhbi creates stoneware pieces using hand-building and coil techniques.
This ancestral process entails a slow construction that permits the development of a relationship and dialogue that influences the emerging shapes. Each piece, therefore, holds the traces of a unique emotional quality, an intimate premise that emerges from within.

Moved by the rare subtlety of prehistoric works and inspired by the creations of the first people, Linda Ouhbi creates pieces that question the ideas of function and utility, but above all, the notion of time.

The earthy, used aspect of these ceramics results from research centering on glazes undertaken in the ceramicist’s workshop using raw natural materials.

More than a trade or the quest for an aesthetic, Linda Ouhbi approaches her field as a lifestyle, the pursuit of an essential, a primordial state.

Size. : H 18 x W 21 x D 8 cm Colour : creme / rust
