Privacy policy
Updated 3 November 2026
This policy explains how YŌNOBI handles personal information in connection with our webshop, Pinch Pot Cafés, pottery classes, memberships and customer service.
Who is responsible?
YŌNOBI, CVR 44024144, Nybrogade 28, st., 1203 Copenhagen K, Denmark, is responsible for the personal information we process about our customers and guests. Contact hello@yonobi.com with questions or requests about your information.
Information we use and why
When you buy a product, gift card or course, book a café visit or contact us, relevant information may include your name, email, telephone number, delivery address, order or booking details, payment status and correspondence. We use it to handle your purchase or reservation, provide the experience, arrange delivery or collection and respond to questions. The basis is performance of our agreement with you, or steps you ask us to take before an agreement, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Without necessary contact, booking or delivery information, we may be unable to fulfil the service.
We also process transaction information to meet legal obligations, including accounting requirements, under Article 6(1)(c). Handling complaints, documenting claims and protecting our website against misuse may rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Those interests are providing customer support, resolving disputes and keeping our services secure.
Newsletters & cookies
Newsletter subscriptions are based on consent, under Article 6(1)(a). You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.
Website use can generate technical information such as IP address, browser and device details and pages visited. Non-essential analytics and advertising cookies require consent; necessary cookies support functions such as the shopping cart. See our cookie declaration for cookie information and consent choices. Simply visiting our website is not consent to marketing.
Who receives information?
Relevant information is shared with service providers involved in operating the webshop, managing bookings and memberships, processing payments, sending emails and delivering parcels. This includes Shopify as our webshop platform. Providers receive information needed for their role; some act on our behalf, while payment or delivery providers may have their own responsibilities under data protection law. Authorities and professional advisers may receive information where required for legal obligations or a specific claim.
Where a service involves processing outside the EU/EEA, GDPR rules on international transfers apply. Depending on the recipient, a lawful transfer may rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about recipients, processing locations and the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long is information kept?
Retention depends on the purpose. Order and booking information is needed to fulfil the purchase or visit and deal with related questions or claims. Accounting material is retained for the period required by applicable law. Correspondence is retained while needed to handle the matter and any related claim. Newsletter information is used while your subscription is active; limited evidence of consent or withdrawal may be needed to document your choices and prevent further marketing. Information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer necessary. Contact us for the retention period applicable to a particular record.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information and object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time and object to direct marketing. Write to hello@yonobi.com; we may need to verify your identity. Some information cannot be deleted while a legal obligation requires its retention. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.
