We’re a studio for anyone who finds beauty in working with their hands. At our locations in Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus, people come together around clay—not just to learn, but to experience. The soft rhythm of shaping something from nothing, the quiet focus it brings, the satisfaction of creating a piece that is entirely your own.

Pottery at Yonobi isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. The moment your hands touch clay, everything else softens. You’re grounded, playful, curious. Whether you come alone or with others, it’s an invitation to pause and reconnect—with yourself, with the material, and with the joy of making.

Our name is inspired by the Japanese YOnoBI (用美), which means beauty in practical objects made by craftsmen. Yo-no-bi consists of two kanji, yo (用), which means use or application, and bi (美), which means beauty. Together, they aim to balance the aesthetic and the functional.
