Kollektion: Trine Birgitte Bond
Ceramic artist Trine Birgitte Bond. Every piece is handmade in Denmark at her studio Galleri Bond located at Rødvig harbor.
YŌNOBI is lucky to present some of her work from her collection inspired by the UNESCO preserved area 'Stevns Klint'. 'Stevns Klint' is a geological adventure and an infinite source of inspiration in my ceramic work. The cliff tells the story of the extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago when scientists found iridium (stellar dust) in the fish camp. Stevns Cliff has therefore been eroded for UNESCO world heritage. In the cliff's inner and outer landscape, there are many stories waiting to be explored and communicated.
Trine examines chalk, flint, and lime layers, fish camp, fossils hidden in the cliff and the secret life of the indigenous, then experiments and uses her knowledge and imagination to create porcelain, stoneware, black clay, and red clay ceramic works.
