This bowl is part of a new collection by Danish artist Trine Hoppe. The collection is named PÆON.
PÆON was created using the pinching technique, through which Trine has achieved a delicate, flower-like expression. The objects are now partially thrown and partially pinched, giving each a slightly different character. They are then glazed with 'terra sigillata,' a type of glaze that provides the pieces with an incredibly light, soft, and almost skin-like surface.
PÆON represents Trine Hoppe's vision for a series of ceramic objects that serve as a testament to the possibilities of ceramics. The series unites technical craftsmanship with the elegant and aesthetic qualities of form and color.
Measurements:
Approx ø 25,5 x h 7 cm
